Second opinion

A written opinion from licensed doctors in China, in three working days.

Not a phone call, not a summary in an email. A structured written report you can hand to your oncologist at home — including whether there are therapies available here that are not available to you there.

The report

Six sections, every time

You receive the same structure on every case, so you can compare it side by side with what your own doctor has told you.

01

Diagnosis confirmed

Your pathology, immunophenotyping and genetic results re-read against the slides and reports. Subtype matters enormously in blood cancers, and it is where second opinions most often change something.

02

Staging and current status

Where the disease stands now, based on your most recent imaging and bloods, and whether any restaging is needed before treatment begins.

03

Recommended treatment

What they would do, and in what order. Written as a plan, not a preference.

04

The alternatives, and why they were set aside

Often the most useful section. Knowing why a route was rejected is what lets you and your own doctor have a real conversation.

05

Eligibility for what is not available at home

Licensed products and recruiting trials in China that fit your diagnosis and history, with the honest criteria attached. If nothing fits, the section says so.

06

Cost and timeline

What the recommended treatment would cost, how long you would need to be in China, and what would happen in which week.

Who reviews it

Licensed doctors, at named hospitals

We tell you the hospital and the department in writing before you pay. We do not publish individual doctor names, and here is the honest reason.

What we tell you

  • The hospital and the department
  • That the reviewing doctors are licensed physicians practising there
  • How long the review will take
  • Exactly what the report will contain

Why not names

  • Hospital employment rules on external promotion
  • Naming one person creates an expectation we cannot always guarantee
  • Rosters change; the department does not
  • You get the institution, which is the stronger guarantee anyway
The trade-off, stated plainly. Some competitors publish doctor profiles. We publish the institution instead. If you need a named individual before you will proceed, we are probably not the right service for you, and we would rather you know that now.
Timeline

Three working days, and what happens in them

Clock starts when we have complete records. Most delays come from missing pathology, not from us.

Day 0Records received

We check the file is complete and tell you within hours if something is missing.

Completeness check

Day 1Clinical review

Licensed doctors at the hospital review the case; we query anything ambiguous.

Day 3Report issued

Written report delivered, with a call to walk you through it if you want one.

Take it to your own doctor, or ask us to plan treatment. No pressure either way.

Price

$200 – $500, fixed

The range depends on how complex the case is, not on what we think you can pay. You are quoted the exact figure before we start.

Straightforward case
One diagnosis, complete records, single-discipline review.
$200
Complex case
Multiple prior lines of treatment, unclear subtype, or more than one specialty needed.
$500
Everything between
Quoted exactly, in writing, before any payment.
$200 – $500
Two commitments. If the review cannot be completed for reasons on our side, you are not charged. And if the honest answer is that China offers you nothing your own system does not, you still get that answer — that is what you paid for.

Questions about the second opinion

Is this a diagnosis?

No. It is a review of your existing diagnosis and records by licensed doctors, resulting in a written opinion. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis, and no doctor-patient relationship is created by the report alone.

Can I use it with my doctor at home?

Yes, and this is the most common use. The report is written to be handed over — it is structured, dated, and states the hospital it came from.

What if I need more tests?

The report will say which ones. Where they are cheaper or faster at home, we tell you to do them at home.

Does buying a second opinion commit me to treatment?

No. A large share of our second-opinion patients never travel. There is no obligation and no follow-up sales sequence.

How do I send records?

Email them to service@mosohealth.com. Scans or photographs are fine to start with; we will tell you if we need originals.

Send us your reports. We'll tell you what's actually possible.

No commitment, no fee. If China is not the right answer for your case, we will tell you that first.

What to send: diagnosis, most recent pathology report, treatment history, and latest imaging. Reply within 48 hours.
