China has five licensed CAR-T products and one of the largest CAR-T trial programmes in the world. For some patients this is the only remaining option. For others it is simply the only affordable one. This page explains both, without overselling it.
Your own T-cells are collected, genetically modified in a laboratory to recognise your cancer, multiplied, and infused back into you. For certain blood cancers it produces complete remission in a large share of patients who have exhausted every other option.
It is not a gentle treatment. It requires weeks on the ground, hospital monitoring, and a team experienced in managing its side effects. That experience is the main reason patients travel for it.

Licensed by China's NMPA. Prices shown are the therapy itself in RMB converted at approximate rates, and exclude hospitalisation, monitoring and supportive care. For comparison, equivalent US products are listed at $373,000–$475,000. Figures are illustrative and change — we confirm current pricing with the hospital before you commit.
China runs hundreds of active CAR-T trials, covering CD19 and BCMA targets, and increasingly solid tumours including liver, gastric and lung. In trials the therapy itself is often provided at no cost, with total treatment costs commonly in the $40,000–$80,000 range.
Trials are also how patients reach next-generation products that are not yet on the market. The trade-off is stricter entry criteria and a screening process that can take longer.
Every product and every trial has its own criteria. The free case review tells you which, if any, you may fit.
Bloods, imaging, bone marrow biopsy, cardiac assessment.
T-cells separated from your blood and sent to the manufacturing facility.
Cells are modified and multiplied. Many patients rest locally during this window.
Conditioning chemotherapy, infusion, then close monitoring for side effects.
No commitment, no fee. If China is not the right answer for your case, we will tell you that first.
